Chapter 15: Data Through Pictures

How many children in your class like mango? How many like apple? How many like banana? When we ask everyone and write down the answers, we have collected data. And the best way to share data is through pictures , pictographs and bar graphs.

In this chapter we collect, organise, and display data. We use tally marks, draw pictographs, and build bar graphs. By the end, you will be able to turn boring rows of numbers into clear, lively pictures.
